Dr. O’Brien’s practice specializes in adult hip and knee arthroplasty (including both primary and revision surgery). His practice also includes osteotomy and arthroscopy of the hip and knee joint and the management of young adults with arthritis. He also manages athletes with knee injuries and performs ACL reconstructions. Dr. O’Brien is a Dalhousie graduate who did further fellowship training in complex hip and knee arthroplasty at the University of Western Ontario and has returned to Capital Health recently after practicing in Ontario. He is accepting new referrals and has privileges at both the QEII and Dartmouth General.
